Craig Rowe - Founder and CEO

Craig has extensive experience in mentoring individuals as well as empowering teams of people. Craig has a Masters Degree in Education from the University of the Witwatersrand as well as an Honors Degree in Theology from the South African Theological Seminary. Craig serves as an advisor and consultant in a number of leading higher education institutions and non profit organizations locally and internationally. He is a member of the leadership team of COTN Connected who serve leaders and communities globally. He is on the board of the Kings Education Group.

Dr Peter Skosana - Director: School Support Program

Dr Peter Skosana has joined the CDRE team as the Director of the School Support Program. Peter has a PhD from the University of South Africa and is regarded as one of the leading educationalists in South Africa. He has written a novel and contributed to 4 anthologies of poems that were prescribed by the Mpumalanga Department of Education for Grade 8 to 12 learners. In 2016 he formed part of a University of Johannesburg delegation to the Harvard School of Education. He also formed part of the Minister of Education's delegation to represent South Africa in China.

In his position as the Director of the Gauteng West District and Chief Director for the Sediwes Region he inspired and led the both the district and the region to be the top performing district in South Africa over a number of years. He was the first recipient of the MEC's Harry Gwala Award and received several other awards from both the MEC and the Minister of Education. He has inspired and led multiple educational initiatives. Currently he serves on the board of the Association of Christian Schools International and the Kings Education Group with a special focus on Christian Teachers in public schools.

Dr. Aretha Asakitikpi

Dr. Aretha Asakitikpi - Research Consultant

Dr. Aretha Asakitikpi has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours Degree) in Cultural Anthropology; a master’s in communication and Language Arts; and a PhD in Visual Arts/African Art History from Nigeria’s premier institution, the University of Ibadan. She is an alumnus of Brown University’s Institute of Advanced Research, USA; a resource person to the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA), headquartered in Senegal. She has collaborated with academics and researchers at Humboldt University, Germany on leisure and development. She has taught in universities in Nigeria and in South Africa. Her broad research interests are in gender, media and cultural studies, history, and development. She has published extensively in books and journals that have national and international spread.

Dr Andrew Brough - Director

Andrew is a Leadership Development Specialist, Professional Speaker, & Chartered Marketer. Andy Brough qualified as a Chartered Marketer in 2001. He has worked in corporate as well as community environments. He currently lectures at both the Gordon Institute of Business Science as well as Monash South Africa where he is the specialist on leadership in the MBA programme.

Linda Ngoma - Director

Linda is passionate about serving the community. She left the retail world to work with people in the community. She is a qualified ECD teacher as well as an Auxiliary Social Worker, she is also continuing her studies in IT. She mentors young women and mothers in the community as well as running the youth class at Community Ministries. Linda has established Thoriso Pre-school. Linda is currently also working in Golang Education Aftercare Centre and providing much needed academic as well as emotional and spiritual support to the children.

Bronwyn Dugtig - Board of Advisors

Bronwyn Dugtig is the Programme Manager for Developing Talent at The Skoll Centre of Social Entrepreneurship, University of Oxford. Specialising in social impact education Bronwyn leads a number of student facing programmes including Impact Lab which seeks to strengthen the Oxford MBA for students who are committed to impactful careers and systemic change. Bronwyn is passionate about social change and is committed to developing a generation of socially conscious young leaders. Bronwyn has a BA degree from the University of South Africa in Development Studies and African Politics and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Management specializing in Corporate Governance from MSA.

Lynda Smith - Board of Advisors

Lynda has a passionate love of people and the development of future leaders. She is a master networker, innovator and big-picture thinker. Lynda has 38 years business experience and a unique set of skills and knowledge. She is the CEO of Refirement Network, she has been the CEO of Brainboosters, where she helped pioneer a social enterprise helping to change early childhood development. She was for a number of years the Sales and Marketing Director of Smile Education. Her diverse set of abilities include: strategic thinking, leadership development, sales and marketing, coaching, counselling, facilitation, writing, public speaking and networking.
